about the brand
Slurp is a specialty coffee pop-up with a playful, Gen Z-friendly identity and fresh, informal communication. The brand was designed to resonate with a 20-something audience looking for good coffee, a fun vibe, and a sense of community.
Project Overview
The founder of Slurp Coffee approached me to develop a social media strategy and campaign to introduce her new brand and generate buzz around the upcoming launch.
Together, we crafted a content plan that reflected Slurp’s fun and easygoing tone — building excitement for the pop-up through bold visuals, viral moments, and a strong sense of personality.

Logo design: I created a hand-drawn logo on Procreate that incorporated the founder’s personal identity: from her hairstyle and jewelry to a nod to her dog. It balanced fun and recognizability, setting the tone for the whole brand.
Launch animation: I collaborated with an illustrator to create an animated Instagram post paired with a trending song. The video quickly went viral, reaching over 18,000 views.
Creative content: Using Pinterest-sourced images, I used Adobe Photoshop’s AI tool to replace generic drinks with branded Slurp iced coffees. These were shared as fun "personas", fictional customers with names, traits, and backstories.
Organic growth strategy: We focused on candid, engaging photos of customers, behind-the-scenes moments, and warm community vibes. With $0 spent on ads, Slurp’s opening weekend saw queues of customers and growing local buzz.
Event promotion: I also illustrated a custom poster on Procreate to promote a collaboration event between Slurp and a local jewelry boutique.
