About the Society
The Lebanese Society at the University of Warwick brings together students to celebrate Lebanese culture, food, music, and community through events and social gatherings.
Project Overview
As Head of Marketing, I managed the society’s Instagram account (from October 2021 to June 2023) and was responsible for promoting our events throughout the year.
I created all visual content, including posters, Instagram posts, and video teasers, to generate buzz, drive attendance, and give the society a clear visual identity. My goal was to make every event feel exciting, well-branded, and shareable.
Scope of Work
Instagram content creation & management
Poster design for events
Short-form video editing (event promos using music clips)
Event branding and visual direction
“DISCO STATION’ campaign:
To promote our disco event, I designed a 70s-inspired poster and edited a fun promotional video using vintage YouTube clips and music to match the vibe. The content helped drive strong event attendance and engagement.
Team introductions:
Created playful and personalized Instagram posts to introduce committee members, adding a fun, human touch that helped build community and familiarity online.
